12 major content updates came after the failed launch, most of hte bad review bombing was bc how boring it was at first but now good reviews bc drastic improvement

Sometimes video games need refinement and some tweaks to the settings before they can actually succeed.
But otherwise it does seem like it could get boring after some time like any other video game ngl
theres some luck aspects that keeps late game interesting, finding S tier upgrades/ships is like insane. Also theres multiplayer so u can actually be exploring and randomly discover someones base by like a tiny chance. wont lie early game is boring, it gets fun after u beat the mediocre questline and need to build a base and farm food efficiently for money on the market

Luck and rewards aspects to games do supply a steady stream of dopamine tbh
The beginning quests you have to beat in video games that hold you back from the bulk of the storyline is pretty frustrating tbh
The tutorials are understandable but all the things you have to navigate before you can unlock the more free gameplay can be extremely tedious and get old pretty fast imo.
Check out internet historians video about the full no man's sky saga. It is very entertaining and I like his presentation style.
