Soyboy argument. For starters, most blacks are here legally; assuming you mean Hispanics, ICE operates off insider knowledge. Contrary to what Reddit has you think, they don't just go deporting people off the street randomly. Being detained also doesn't mean you were arrested or anywhere close to being deported. Anyone pulled over in a car has been detained.
Ethnics who support immigrants flooding in from their native countries are being naive. The only reason immigrants are positively stereotyped, and allowed in, is because only the best and brightest come. Incrementally, these immigrants can help improve their native countries. Why would anyone trade being positively stereotyped, like a Nigerian, for being negatively stereotyped, like a Somali? Who do you think America wants more of right now? Who do you think will find it harder to rent a place? Whose communities will have more police presence? Whose resumes are skipped over more often, etc.?
