Decided to revive this thread back again, like in the old days.

Hero Specs:

Windows XP SP3
Asus H81M-E
i7-4790
4GB RAM
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 960 Windforce 2GB
X-fi Titanium

Game Modifications:
1. Sky & Road textures. ( using TexED the old build )
2. Spoiler & Rims Pack. ( same as ^ )
3. Car Brightness mod.
4. My own personalized police mod. ( im the author lol )
5. The old way of installation to reach level 10.
6. Shop Spezial modified save file to have more cars available in the Car Lot.
7. Custom Speedometers, i only replaced a couple few.
8. Traffic vehicles Pack.

The save file i´m using is from the summer of 2016.

Game recorded at 1280x960p native ( Fraps ), corrected to 1280x720p 60fps with Handbrake.

It´s useful in roadblocks though, and in certain risky situations.
There is a way to remove it via modding.

Cops are quite lackluster, just dont run on spikes and you are good

Carbon(game) cops are even more weak, and Undercover.. you can shake them even with destroyed tires

They can reach top speed without hesitation, and ram your car to the curve.
It gets more extreme after each passing level.

Actually that game gets complicated to evade because it has a lot of corners, and the cops spawn a lot close to the safe spots.
I modded the game with VLTED, it has a police modification also.
More cars in career mod, harder oponnents, the basic enhancements you see.

Nice, i chose this CPU just to record with Fraps at full size.
It goes well with pretty much any game i have played so far, except for Age Of Empires: Rise Of Rome Expansion + Upatch 1.4

It has to do with the processor, and the fact that i´m using some sort of hybrid Windows XP from the very late stages of Service Pack 3.
This is not a regular Service Pack 3 that i have sitting on my table.
My 2007 Windows XP plays everything.

The second build ( the one im using to record videos ) was more of an experiment to maxx out all the properties of a WinXP machine.
You can see that i´m using the last graphics card compatible with this OS.
Reason being, it is not a cheap graphics card by any means ( i bought it used for 100 euros ), because of it´s retro capabilities.

But that´s not here or there.
The setup itself is very different.
AOE Rise Of Rome + Upatch 1.4 was the only game that didn´t like it very much.

Hell i have games older that play just fine, like Carmageddon 2.
