Discussion New Years Eve... Again. What did you do?

With most people I know spending their new years eve partying, what did the distinguished members of this fine forum spend their time doing? NYE's is not something that I particually care for very much, I don't get the significance of it but I guess it does to some. I spent my evening going for a walk alone, it was very nice.
