around the same price but you can at least fuck around with it and emulate since it's a handheld PC. further questioning as to why would anyone buy the xbox handheld unless they're dedicated xbox fans and I wonder how large a number that is

Rog Ally falls into that place where I don't know why anyone would buy it. It's a better spec Steam Deck that just plays PC games, not XBox games. Steam Deck is already iffy as a handheld and Ally is bigger. And as with all handhelds, if anything breaks including sticks which will happen, you're fucked.

Just get a high-end gaming laptop if you need portable.
