When I found the clip I made this gif from, I knew I had stumbled upon a gem of media. It tells a complete story without words, integrating enduring concepts and themes. Since I was young I have gravitated towards asian/hapa girls I have for years identified with the orca as a symbol of struggle and keep a picture of one above my desk The metaphor of being on the "other side of the glass" is also something I have found very relevant as a spectator in life (it could be said to have happened literally on multiple occasions). If I had told an AI engine to generate an optimal representation of my specific incel life experience, it probably could not have come up with something as appropriate as this.
