One of the funniest things amongst the modern Nintendo "community" of lobotomized homosexuals and wannabe girl dads, is how defensive they'll get over using save states to beat fucking NES/SNES games.

It's also because the difficulty of modern Nintendo games has been watered down immensely. A good example is Mario Kart. Shit's holding your hand nowadays, you can crash into a wall and lose minimal speed. The Wii one on the other hand had lots of depth and tech and punished you hard for mistakes.

What is the cause and what is the effect though? Dumb normies or companies producing slop or a mix of both?
