Back in older games, you most likely didn't haave any friends to play it. Hell, I never had any irl friends either.. this was the beauty of it though, you could chat with a couple of people in the game, and become friends with them, because they didn't have friends either. Games were somewhat pro-incel back then, pandering to people like us and helping people like us. Nowadays, games are more popular than ever, yet they feel more lonely than ever. Even games who's sole existence was to make friends are overtaken by normies and women who just want to do degenerate things. Then regular multiplayer games are marketed towards people who already have a friend group. There's no more promotions to try to make new friends. Instead, the opposite. "Refer a friend, you get something!" "Play with friends, you get a friend boost." I DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS WITH, AND YOU DON'T MAKE IT ANY EASIER TO MAKE SOME. I HAVEN'T HAD A VIDEO GAME FRIEND SINCE MAYBE SEVEN YEARS AGO, BECAUSE ALL THEY DO NOW IS PANDER TO PEOPLE WITH PRE-EXISTING FRIENDS.
