Was born with little enamel in my teeth, thanks to shity genetics. so had to have a lot of work done on them. Plenty of crowns and root canals, missing about few of them. Would have far more removed if I didn’t do this.

I don't have any teeth to worry about brushing, haven't brushed in over a decade
now you have to shower at least 4 times a day to feel somewhat normal

I do have dentures that I don’t wear, they feel weird and I’m ugly as sin anyways.
But the just massive indescribable pain you can get from a rotting tooth or an exposed nerve will make you want to do whatever you can to avoid it again.
i'm too fucked up on drugs to feel much physical pain anymore but no I don't and if I do then I just drink myself to sleep

I'm trying to get up the motivation to get back into it currently. Sigh.
Though at least I do get regular dental cleanings and checkups now when a while back I went 9 years without doing so much to my teeth's detriment. Ugh.
