Death note was the first anime I watched. Started out really good but went to shit. Haven't watched anything ever since. Also most Animes have too much romance, I don't like romance.

Death Note or Attack on Titan are good starting points. You could even go down the route of say Demon Slayer but it depends on what you look for in a show.

Death note is the best starter but it also depends what your personally into/what your taste is. Do you like crime shows? Romance shows? Comedies? Drama? Action/fighting? I would need to know your interests to give a good recommendation.
