Long story short, I'm tapering down on alcohol after almost three years of alcoholism. I won't say what I'm going from, but there have been liver pains for almost a year now.
Thinking that if I stop, it'll get better, but as we all know, trying to live longer because you think it'll get better, is a cope.
So a few days ago I bought a "kitchen safe", a device you can throw something in, set a time, and it locks until that timer is released.
Kitchen Safe : Time Locking Container (White Lid + 5.5" Clear Base)
(Thank you kindly, brazilian 3rd party cucksmegmabois for running to the isle so I get it in the next few days )
This actually made sense from an alcoholic perspective, buy the drinks you need to taper down, throw your wallet in when you get home, and then set the timer
Well, don't buy one of these, my wallet is locked in the clear perspex box until I wake up for working tomorrow. The urge to drink is quite strong. I'm sitting on the edge of smashing this thing open so I can grab another drink, so I can grab another cope.
Never try to stop the cope.
