It really started hitting me that I'm getting old after hearing from relatives that my cousin, who is younger than me by about half a decade, is getting married.

My coworkers are having children, and pretty much all of my highschool classmates are married, besides the ones off grid like me.

Whereas I just recently celebrated my birthday by getting a single muffin with a candle, and drinking some shitty cider.

I have some cousins who are even worse off than me, though it is not much of a comfort. They started to look like froglets recently (dbdr reference).
