Starting from the axiom that Jesus really existed and was not a product of a conjunction of beliefs from other cultures merged with Judaism, I say that he was:
1) A Hero
2) A Revolutionary Leader
This was his preaching:
"There is only one God, who is a god of love and not a creature of resentment, but a benevolent father of all people, life on this earth is nothing but a preparation for eternal life with God, and is given to each one, make it bearable and full of joy. Kings and slaves are equal before God."
Basically a religious reformer who, in his good intentions, tried to offer comfort, light and hope to the slave and working masses of his time, in the face of a world of tyrants.
Then its doctrine was corrupted, Christianity degenerated and was filled with mentally ill people with a lust for power.
Catholicism emerged as a State Religion and tool of mass control, what was a preaching of love and light was transformed into a preaching of weakness and apology for servitude and ignorance.
Jesus had good intentions...
I wonder what he would think if he saw what his philosophy had become.
He would probably want to set fire to and destroy the Catholic Church at the very least.
