And also this program might be encouraging single motherhood. Instead of pushing for responsible parenting, it's like the government is saying Go ahead, have a kid on your own, we'll take care of you.
And also not forget about equity. If the government's so generous with single mothers, why not spread the generosity? Single dads, childless people, everyone could use a helping hand.
