My take on "would you date an AI gf?"

ok in this hypothetical i will be making 2 assumptions:

1) the ai girl is indistinguishable from a human girl
2) I only know it is an ai girl because i either witnessed her being created, or she or someone else proved it to me.

without thinking, I would immediately say yes. of course I would want to date a girl that I know is an AI if she is indistinguishable from a real human (reproduction, touch, everything).

My question is, who wouldn't?

The fact that she isn't a real human that has human origins does not concern me at all.

Think of it this way: if you suddenly figured out that there were 2 parallel realities: one simulated on a supercomputer, and another that is actually happening, should you really care which one you are in? If both present the EXACT same experience, why does it matter what the hidden reality behind them are? It is completely meaningless...

I'd totally be ok with an AI GF that is indistinguishable from a real woman both physically, mentally and behaviorally.

I wouldn't think twice about it.

Only problem is, the concept of an AI GF is pure science fiction. It will never manifest in reality.

But in the years to come, corporations will market life-like robots as "AI GFs" but they'll be nothing more than glorified sex dolls programmed to speak and act in a very specific way. That's not what I want.

AI women would be great if they could actually talk like humans, but they just talk like robots who have no real opinion.
