I think it was assumed because the games going to have these updrafts that launch you in the air so you can cover long distances quickly.

Spyro open world? Yes! Running around and gliding is so satisfying in the original 3 games (and the remakes). So yeah, more of that sounds good to me.
It probably will be since every other game that's come out in the past decade has been woke.
Im still fucking surprised no one replicated STALKER 1 & 3, open world design and A-life system!!! Not even the fucking devs of STALKER 2.
The devs live in a war zone though and afaik one of them even got drafted and died in the war, so it is understandable that they wouldn't be able to make a game at least on oar with the original titles, considering the stress.
But they are still a bunch of Zelensky's cock sucking morons, so.
I understand but they had the blueprint and they were working on it before the war started.
Tbh they should have, first of all, kept the politics out of their video and the public discourse.
Then they should have maybe just remade the OGs with a new engine that is very mod friendly, which is really what has made STALKER so great.
But for me the main reason why I have not bought STALKER 2 is because it is garbage, runs horribly, the devs could not hide their russophobia and stupid politics and even removed history from their own OG titles, although it was also the history of Ukraine.
They have released their OG titles as so called remasters but really they are remakes because they have removed content.
And don't get me wrong, I am not siding with Russia either. I am absolutely against wars, but these idiotic developers are fanstics.
Their trilogy has, in fact, united gamers from all over the world and it was indeed beautiful to witness, let me tell you.
Even gamers from the anglosphere were captivated by the atmosphere of those games, despite barely speaking Russian / Ukranian or none at all.
Thanks to STALKER I have improved my Russian significantly, for example.
But then these morons decided to use their games as a platform to cause division among the people.
They could have used it to keep the gamers u ited, across borders and help propagate understanding and the will for a better future.
Video games can do this. Just enjoy a good time together, man, but they have shown their true colors, and it saddens me.
