The great thing about McDonalds chicken nuggets is unlike with their fries they don’t get completely ruined when you save them as leftovers in the refrigerator as I’ve found that unlike their fries when you reheat McNuggets in the microwave they still amazingly seem to retain much of their crispness whereas the fries become limp, rubbery and disgusting.
Though supposedly fast food fries can be restored to glory via the oven and or refrying but having tried the second option twice over by now I sadly haven’t discovered the sweet spot in cooking time or duration + heat level to properly restore them all to their prior crispness + softness.
The majority of them always seem to end up overly done and crispy or burnt at worst with only a few being soft and crispy similar to how they were when they were fresh.
Eventually I finally want to try the oven method and see if that makes any difference.
