Had hernia for one year. Just noticed it got a lot worse. No pain, but it got bigger. They say it can become obstructed at any time, which can cause a painful death if left untreated. I have to wait until Monday to contact any of the hernia centers. I don't want to go to the emergency room and have an inexperienced doctor work on me. The professional ones have regular business hours.

You should go lift some heavy weights at the gym. I hear that's good for hernias.

Eat more "connective tissue" like gristle and tendons.
Gently do crunches or exercise the muscles in that area.
