My goals throughout life: Just as I’ve came to accept reality and my situation, my goals have adapted to become increasingly more realistic

My goals throughout life have plummeted in this order:

House, economic success, good job, family, socially successful

house, economic success, romantically successful, socially successful

apartment, economically stable, romantically successful, socially successful

Apartment, pet, economically stable, socially successful

Apartment, pet, economic stability

Happiness

My current goal is simply to be content with life . I think that’s enough of a goal to have. I will never stop trying and I’ll climb the latter as far up as I can. I’m going to keep working until I’m independent and own a place to live. Also to adopt a kitty . I’ll get there brocels. For me, that’s enough ascension

Ditto. Was wise to shed the extra weight; these tick-box aspirations serve only to bring about misery through comparison with others and inability to be achieved. Don't need much to be content, though is still very much a work in progress.
