Story My first time hunting

So I was going into nature in hopes of catching a deer maybe an antelope but guess what i caught on my first time? a stupid ass squirrel i mean the meat was too lean i preferred some fat there but yeah it wasn't a huge portion that could fill my belly so i js went home on an empty stomach basically (brutal)
as for which weapon i used if anyone of u ask it was a crossbow

js be careful and have all the proper gears cause the last thing you wanna witness on a hunt is missing the proper gears to either catch a prey or prepare them

Usually freezing cold or blazing hot out, you'll see nothing all day unless you get lucky or are in a good spot.

Will you at least eat it? I could never kill an animal just for the sake of it, only for food and even then it would take nerves. I used to fish though as a kid and we ate the fish.

the spine and brain was the only part I didn't eat because of my fear of catching a prion
