Serious My father's younger brother is +3 SD above the mean East Asian male height (6'3)

I just realized this while I was thinking about my uncle (my father's younger brother), who is a six foot three Korean

Since the average East Asian male height is 5'7.8, a height +3 standard deviations above the Asian male mean like my uncle's would be approx. 6'3 (5'7.8 + 3 x 2.42)

I find it very interesting that my father is around +4.34 SD above the East Asian mean in Math IQ (around +5 SD in white math IQ), while his younger brother (my uncle) is +3 SD above the East Asian male mean in height (+1.67 SD in white male height)

My uncle is approx. 1 in 741 in height among young Korean males

Probably higher in SD for his age group since this is measuring the height of 20 something year olds in 2015, while my uncle was born when Korea was much poorer

I'm beginning to suspect my father's side of the family are a bunch of genetic freaks of nature (i.e. supermutants) engineered in a government laboratory

I don't think these 2 separate SD's are connected. But thats definetely impressive

Correlation btw height and IQ is 0.22
