That was my original plan too, but instead I'm 23 and broke as a joke. Best to start early so that you'll have a comfort net if anything bad happens in the future. (By this I meant working, not roping. Don't rope buddy boyo.)

Well that is my plan. Studymaxx for a sub5-friendly job like a software developer for the time being and cope however I can. When my mother passes away I will rope. There is no better option.

If you're looking for a cope I'd recommend finding something that gives you meaning. Pick up an instrument or practice drawing. I had exact same plan as you 2 years ago (I’m 20), but it turned out that this field is EXTREMELY competitive right now and I dropped out. You’re kind of late to the party tbh I’m not sure you’ve got a good shot at it rn, you’ll have to give it your all fr.
Shit, I can't even get up most mornings. I spend 5 hours daydreaming and doing nothing. I used to do plenty of things just last year (drawing included) but I just don't have the motivation anymore.
