Symmetries are what make any complex structure possible.
My own body is completely asymmetric. My chin is half a cm longer on one side. The neck muscles insert differently on both sides. My left shouldermuscles look completely different than the right ones and are a few cm higher. Left chest is way smaller. My lower legs look like they were attached the wrong way round. It's all crooked.
