today marks the end of my diet experiment, as I weigh 67.4 kgs right now (176 cm)
that means tomorrow (after sleeping and waking up) I'll be 67 kgs
which means I will be in the 21.7 ideal bmi
it has been 5 months or something, I started dieting since the end of January in which I weighted a little over 81 KGs
now after five months of very strict dieting, I finally reached the 67 kg mark, dropping 15 Kgs
what makes me disappointed is that my diet was so strict, I endured a great deal of hunger all the time and I still do to this moment, there were days in which I skipped dinner or completely fasted for 24 or even 30 hours to recover from a small free meal and get back to ketosis, there are weeks in which I didn't eat more than 800 kcals per day,
I felt shit at the one month gym period I even got a bad injury, I was constantly weak and tired, I quitted gym but I never quitted dieting, I had to not end up fat
but the fact that I had to endure all this pain just to drop 15 kgs...
I had a supposed average caloric deficit of a whopping 1200 kcals per day yet I could barely lose 3 kgs per month despite having less than 20 grams of carbs a day, that means my metabolism is so slow that my tdee is lower than an extreme sedentary ldar person, nothing made sense at first glance but then it all clicked to me
I'm getting old and my shit genetics are making it worse and it's irreversible
I realized that I will probably never be able to eat the same amount of food as I did 5 years ago, I will get fat easily and I have to keep my weight on watch and weight myself every morning....
