Yes, lookism affects every aspect of your life, even in male-only social circles or hobby groups.

But even accounting for that, I'm objectively a bad friend. I never respond to their messages (eventually they don't either).

I just get depressive episodes where nothing matters and I don't feel brave enough to respond to anyone, or even check my social media.

It's brutal.
 
You have to live with it. even being attractive you'd still in that way.

Although isn't bad not respond to your friends if you can't.

Talk to them when you think it's worth it.
 
Not something to worry about. Being a good friend is for normies and people who have some quality of life to bargain with in the game of life

Friends are shit anyway. At least all the ones I made were. All they want to do is benefit from you.

I distanced myself from them because I had nothing to contribute. Like, let's say we meet every Friday and discuss career, girlfriends, etc. What the fuck am I going to say? "Haha yeah guys another week of rotting for me"
