Life is only meant for the privileged, strong, and competent. If you don't descend a strong lineage, don't expect yourself to make a dramatic turn around from how earlier generations of your family lived. You are merely a genetically recombined extension of those that came before you, you are not a free independent individual who is unburdened and separate from your inheritance. If your ancestors were mere peasants who rotted and got swept away by any and all societal trends without any strength to shape their own future, you too will be the same as them.
