By the time she notices my presence, this has already been formulated in her subconscious:

1. He’s hideous.
2. He want to rape or otherwise sexually harass me.
3. Don’t make any indicators of interest, whatsoever, and maybe I’ll make it out unscathed.

This is the life of us mammals. I literally get traumatized by these encounters because it reminds me that my genes are a blight upon the Earth.

I was grocery shopping today and this occurred constantly, reminding me why I prefer nocturnality. My only regret during these encounters was that I didn’t have a concealed carry to use to annihilate myself on the spot and put an immediate stop to my DNA replication.
