I got bit by some dumb ass stray dog from behind once when I was casually walking and I put all my power into a kick in an attempt to eviscerate it off the face of this earth but it ran away.

Dogs can be pretty annoying, I don't understand the concept of harboring animal pets in your household.
Maybe I would consider having a female human sex slave as a pet within my house as she serves the benefit of being my pleasure tool.
But dogs on the other hand? They are useless to me.
