I don't wholly agree on his stance of tech bad or just the industrialisation period being bad, in fact no inventor in the past would have assumed their inventions to be used in ways they didn't expect for them to be used. Tesla even wanted electricity for the entire world and the tech boom has helped people interact easier and more aware of things in comparison to how much was easily comprehended pre-internet. The only side I ever blamed were people and only people, because it was usually people, specifically simpleton idiots, that have used things for the most senseless way possible i.e. that stupid tide pods challenge and being easily consumed and decieved by social media, though the latter is no different to how monkeys or tribes trick their groups or assume into thinking that someone within the tribe was a spawn of the devil or had done something wrong, resulting those false victims to be eaten alive by their ex-peers.

I will agree that the tech boom making most jobs redundant as they get replaced by machines was a bad idea, but I honestly loved tech for the vast information it has provided me than just reading a book, which even those as a medium can be skewered but simpletons abide by it, assuming that books can't have misinformation.
