For context: This was a flashmob organized in Taiwan because the Japanese female net idol dance cover group, Danceroid, was visiting the country. Flashmobs were a trend in the early 2010s that took the world by storm, with "random" acts of dancing really harnessing the YOLO-swag spirit of the era. Performance art has been around for ages, but the flash mob peaked in 2011, when YouTube and a zest for life were all the rage. Videos of said boogieing would go viral online, prompting other theatre kids to create their own. These were not complete strangers who joined randomly though, this was pre-arranged beforehand. The three girls in the front are members of Danceroid, and the one in the middle wearing a floral dress is Kozue Aikawa, the original choreographer of Luka Luka Night Fever.
