For context: This was a flashmob organized in Taiwan because the Japanese female net idol dance cover group, Danceroid, was visiting the country. Flashmobs were a trend in the early 2010s that took the world by storm, with "random" acts of dancing really harnessing the YOLO-swag spirit of the era. Performance art has been around for ages, but the flash mob peaked in 2011, when YouTube and a zest for life were all the rage. Videos of said boogieing would go viral online, prompting other theatre kids to create their own. These were not complete strangers who joined randomly though, this was pre-arranged beforehand. The three girls in the front are members of Danceroid, and the one in the middle wearing a floral dress is Kozue Aikawa, the original choreographer of Luka Luka Night Fever.

An amazingly inspired gem of a dancefloor drum and bass song. I haven't heard this in sooo long. Wow, the nostalgia hits like a truck. Who else finds this song kind of... emotional?

Memories of staying up late playing vidya until 3AM on a school night. Starting a new Minecraft world filled with a sense of wonder and endless possibilities. That's what this song sounds like. And the best part? Those were the times when cynicism had no place, and all that mattered was the joy of discovering new copes. :')

The comment section is overflowing with reflections from boomers, zoomer females, and normans alike on the importance of cherishing teenage love and embracing the fleeting joys of youth.
im a die hard NSBM elitist but slowdive is good

I see. My sister was really into DSBM, I, on the other hand, have never been able to get into or grasp the appeal of most heavier subgenres of metal. Way too dark, violent, and unconventional for me. It's literally the opposite of what i listen to, and frankly speaking, I've never liked it at all.
but slowdive is good
To tell you the truth, that was the very first time I've ever listened to them.

The morning is dead, and the day is too
There's nothing left here to lead me but the velvet moon
All my loneliness I have felt today
It's a little more than enough to make a man throw himself away
And I continue to burn the Midnight Lamp, alone...
