Media Music Megathread

I didn't expect to like this, but it turns out that this band is very good. Like something between Vaz and Tool.

@Gremlincel

Potentially very incellish, don't understand the text.

He has already even the wizard powers.

Said soleley from the video judging. :feelscry:

Hard to tell whether this or Fas is the best DsO release.

@Ledgemund

I always preferred the less arty-farty bands in France, like the early LLN scene. some newer acts like Antaeus hold my attention though.

I'll get around to listening to the collection of these tracks as unit pretty soon probably. How long will it be until the vocals are completed you think?

As for DsO, I know that kind dissonant, atmospheric Metal is beloved of hipster kids and soybugs. However, I have to say it's probably one of the most promising strains of sound to emerge after the year 2000. It is very much expressive of the decadent dread saturating the world in its present state.

Stuff like DsO and Ulcerate I have to say is probably some of the most compelling stuff out there right now.

Antaeus and the rest of the Norma Evangelium Diaboli stuff is interesting too.

LLN and similarly raw BM is worthwhile, but it doesn't hold my attention quite like something more dynamic and full.

might be a few weeks dude. LLN just appeals to me out of pure rawness and how hostile the scene was to the music press.
I figured you would live Ulcerate because you like Immolation
I saw them live, great show. Immolation that is. got a few of their CDs too.

Just discovered this today somehow, well not really, I've heard it before but it just clicked in my head that I felt like I discovered it. At least I have this because SOAD will probably never release another album

This has been sounding particularly good lately

Because of Him

fd4.png

This world has hope again
Because of him
This world has got a friend

A friend that will eradicate
All life's false humanity
Helping one race, one creed
To meet their need

So that all may see
That it's all so wonderful to care
To love, to cull, to share
To love, to cull, to share

Oh, let us start today
To live and die the same way...

Forgot these guys existed

for people into filthy grimy noise rock

thanks to @Ledgemund for the last rec.

good band but I heard they hate NatSocs and Fascists. typical countersignaling bs.

I assume you dig Laibach?

Never heard of them tbh. Will check it out.

I like Rammstein and NIN which is pretty similar.

Rammstein consider Laibach an influence and a brother band.

Laibach were a very good band in their industrial phase, too bad their last albums dig totally different genres, I really disliked the last ones.
Btw in last times I returned again into Corsican independentist music:
