most influential shows to you (plots/themes/characters)?

i loved welcome to the nhk, and mononoke(show not movie), both i found myself remembering months after completing. i still feel something when i recall the period of my life where i watched both.


anything that stuck with you(standing out from the generic slop in between)? why? do you recommend it to others often?

One Punch Man, TAWOG, BFDI, Homestuck (I consider it a show), Phineas and Ferb, Total Drama, Regular Show, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends...

Some of these didn't go the direction I wanted, but they were very influential to me growing up...

Elfen Lied feels like I was rock bottom in my life due to covid isolation and deep depression and watching that show was also more depressing
But I don't remember much from the shock except how shocking and sad it was
