Longsword. Fast and powerful. The only game where I don't prefer it is MH4 because the great sword in that game is so good.

Switch axe, GS/LS and a bow probably. However GS may be too slow vs some monsters so maybe not

lance easily lol, especially rise. rise lance prolly gets easier stuns than hammer with shield tackle.
lance feels like baby mode in these newer monster hunter games.
ye thats why i like it cus its braindead and does everything really good. rushdown, defense, attacking, counters, anti-air... its piss easy. and everyone call longsword busted? lance gotta be the most insane overtuned weapon for solo play in sunrise tbh. havent played wilds yet, prolly wont, it looks garbo lowkey.
it's kinda fun the wounding mechanic and investigations are nice, grinding artisan weapons is a drag but you can make some good ahit
No actually it's the Tonfas or Magnet Spike (only monhun truecels will get it)
