Mods should introduce a “inactivity blackhole” to reduce lurkers on the site

It is clearly not possible to have a “fakecek detector bot” without an high bias, cause we are far from having a standard of communication. I think it is quantum computer level hard of a task, but an activity tracker + spam check could reduce the problem. It shouldn’t be like “post everyday or u are out”, we would end up full of garbage posts on ID, but enough severe on new users and looser on high post count ones (each thousand posts the algorithm weakens).


If they really care about taking screenshots on our site make them work for it. To postcount maxx they will need to come up with some ideas. Although im a fan of quote reposts, we need minimum post lenght (no empty replies), thread count should be visible, and I wouldn’t mind a categorical attribute for activity with range 1 to 5 next to the user. It’s a lot but it would help I guess.
