I wasted so much time in this game back in the early 2010s. I could build a whole city and town if I wanted. Now I can't build a simple mine or hut without wanting to quit. I think I'll just rot here instead

I used to enjoy Minecraft back when I was 10-14, and even then I still played it occasionally, up until this day even.
I modded tf out of it w various modpacks; I basically created whole new games in it & also played on servers w some friends back then.
I was possibly planning on getting back into it on my laptop -once I clear it up from school & all the useless junk I saved- since I want to get back into modding for it but now I am having second thoughts.

I used to play alot on the cringeanarchy server, built a huge ass villa. But after some time everybody stopped playing. Me too, because minecraft is boring and without human interaction there's nothing to do

I can only really tolerate games like GTA or RDR (mainly since there's actual stuff to do) and even then it takes me a long time to finish the games since I don't really like playing vidya anymore. I started an IV playthrough in 2020, still haven't finished
I think the best thing about Minecraft is that through stuff like modding, using resource/texture packs, and playing with fellow players if you can is that it serves as kinda a platform for other games.

I have quite fond memories of the game, as I played it with a few friends I had back in those day: I also installed a fuck ton of modpacks and the like which added in a whole new fuck ton of things to do. I remember I played this mod called Tale of Kingdoms which had RPG elements in it, and I also played this one called Tekkit which added in a bunch of mechanical & magical stuff iirc.
Nah bro, GTA feels like an actual job. This is coming from someone who played from 2017-2020 and is level 400 on GTA online.
Used to browse r/GTAOnline everyday for weekly bonuses to grind and take Adderall and spend 8 hours a day playing so I could buy that (1) supercar.
Don’t get me wrong, it was super fun while it lasted and met so many great people but god damn that game is stale now.
I was never into the modding scene but I did enjoy adding gun and nuke mods to my game since I liked to destroy the NPC villages scattered about the world. I forgot what they were called exactly but one of them had the Tsar Bomba in it.
I play the single player. Haven't touched GTA Online or RDR II Online in like 3 years.
GTA Online I've played since the spring of 2014. I grinded out my character to about level 190ish (maybe 200) before I bought a modded account in 2017. This was when you could still transfer characters from Xbox 360/PS3 to Xbox One/PS4. Modding was easier on the 7th gen consoles.
Paid like $20 for it and it had rank 500 and hundreds of millions of dollars. From that point on I only hopped on to grief people or to help out my then friends who were doing heists.
Didn't do much in RDR II Online besides troll people as Native Americans with a then friend of mine.
I played with some friends I had back then on servers so Ig that made it more fun, we also all watched tons of popular JewTubers back then and talked about them so ig that added to it.
Playing Minecraft mods also kinda was my introduction to the fantasy/sci-fi RPG genre- before that I played stuff like GTA, Cod, Battlefield, Destiny, with the closest RPG like games being Farcry games & Assassin's Creed. Stuff like Skyrim, Fallout, and the likes didn't really appeal to me back then but playing mods sort of inspired or of the same genre as them in Minecraft got me more interested in them. Nowadays, RPGs set in Fantasy or Sci Fi worlds are my favorite like Witcher 3, Skyrim, Fallout, and Outer Worlds; if I can get a gaming PC in the future I will try out some MMoRPGs on PC.
