I don’t know about you, but, of course, despite its glaring flaws (including the inexplicable plot hole that ended the story abruptly without resolution regarding the “boy” villain characters), the online mode — battle mode, infiltrating the invaded mother base mode to liberate, tricks to collect S++ ranked soldiers, upgrading mother bases and trying to complete the game to 100% — while a vast waste of time, gives me a sense and reason to cope with my boring and nihilistic “ugly incel punk” existence, once in a while.

I wish that Konami didn’t fuck Hideo Kojima over, because if Konami hadn’t, MGSV (including the prologue) would be one of the best and most (in a good way as world-building) addictive games ever made.

I suggest that on this forum, we make the list of addictive video games. Even better if online to compete or cooperate with other live players, for ultimate cope to tolerate the lonely existence.

(As an aside: this is probably not healthy as degenerate—my other hobbies are simultaneous multi browsers of livestream pornography shows and streaming movies, vintage (anime) cartoons, documentaries, programs, etc; I prefer to play video games while watching live stream porn on the other monitor or tv at the same time, or even watch streamed programs with multiple live steamed porno at the same time; because I’m lonely and bored as the true shunned outcast [with severely damaged reputation but no criminal record as exonerated (to be vague…arrested, then, after a long legal battle, dismissed for a felonious offense); women Google my name to reject me forevermore] forever alone loser that I need multiple simulations to tolerate my shitty existence to try to avoid temptation to rope, as hopelessly unemployable or occasional gig economy delivery/rideshare driver which I hate due to prima donna assholes and losses that lead to little income in profit overall.)

But, this is my opinion—I’m not into first person shooter games. I was bored by the overhyped and overrated Fortnite when I tried to play it, so I uninstalled it. Never played Minecraft and World of Warcraft in my life so I’d rather avoid these.

I like stimulation strategy and RPG games—to feel like I could build the world inside the video game (not into PC as poorfag) that serve as coping to deal with my “soul-crushing” loneliness.

That aside, I might have particular tastes; one of these tastes is “manly” a la Metal Gear franchise.

Playing MGSV: PP while connected online (conquering enemy AI infiltration mode, battling other live players to steal high value soldiers and stuff, etc) every other day is still fun, even 7 long years after the global release of the frustratingly hard and engrossing, yet flawed game.

Hideo Kojima should design the ultimately addicting cope online (perhaps world building, perhaps MMORPG) exclusive game for the incels—shut-in incels exist in Japan by the million or more, called herbivore. Maybe that would help reduce suicide rate in the land of Rising Sun and abroad. (Death Stranding is unfortunately repetitive and boring for me so I gave up playing.) :feelsthink:

Bonus: Kojima-san predicted the dystopian (indirectly forcing inceldom upon some unlucky males) world we now live in, in MGS2, released just weeks after 9-11.

Yea the online mode was pretty fun. I remember infiltrating people's FOBs with raiden's suit you got from S ranking all the missions back in when I played in 2018. I even got to see the full nuclear disarmament cutscene when the severs glitched out on PC. :smonk::smonk:

I didn't play online because I played on Xbox360 RGH, later I played cracked version on PC. It's an amazing game. It is a damn shame MGS franchise is dead after so many years. Kojima was on right track storywise with Death Stranding but gameplay sucks.

I've been MGSVmaxxing for the last couple of months
Great mechanics and stellar missions
