I’m not a bad person because I have mental illnesses. The reason I’m like this is because of the way society treated me. It’s the constant rejection, the isolation, the judgment based on things I can’t change. This is what society has done to me. It’s not my fault I was born the way I am. But society doesn’t care about that. I didn’t ask for this mental illness, I didn’t ask to feel like I’m broken. You don’t see the hurt behind the quiet, the pain in the silence. But it’s there, all the time, wearing me down.
