Kwame Kilpatrick. The 6'8 Tyrone was the youngest mayor and tallest mayor and most framemaxxed mayor in Detroit history being 30 years old when elected. He had high support from the 18-35 demographic of voters, but older people kind of weren't sold at first because he wore a big diamond earring and they thought he was too young and inexperienced to run a major American city. He was nicknamed "the Hip Hop Mayor". He had the type of personality you would expect from a 6'8 ex football playing gigaTyrone. Very extroverted and outgoing and charming. So he got elected over his much shorter opponent.
But he ended up being convicted of corruption and sentenced to 28 years in Federal Prison back in 2010 or 12 I think. It all came crashing down when he had a party at the Mayors Mansion. His wife got into a fight with a stripper who was dancing at the party. A couple weeks later, the stripper ends up shot to death. And the gun that was used to kill her was a Detroit police issued handgun. It happened in 2003 but is unsolved to this day.
And two officers investigating the murder were fired suddenly under ominous circumstances. They sued and won. But that was the beginning of the end of gigaTyrone's reign.
