Mass normie layoffs

In my office building many of the normies got laid off over the last week. A lot of businesses don't know when demand will return so they just laid off a bunch of normies.

Its just the business owners & a few key workers left working now.

Since I never have any ambition but I've had the same job for a long time, that is below my capability & I don't ask for wage increases often, unlike normies.. I am one of the ones who remains.

Good point!.. its brutal like some contractors who do housing renos, their customers are cancelling jobs and wanting their deposits back.

So the contractors are just laying off all their normies. They might hire them back as temp workers if there is a few jobs left to do.

Thanks, as stupid as this sounds the low ambition people I know have done better over the long run.

I could probably make in good times 33% more than i make now. But I intentionally didn't ask for wage increases, because then the owner knows they make a bunch of money by employing me each day.

By staying at the same job year after year, it doesn't take me much effort to be productive.

An ambitious normie with a big salary & a new job is the first to go when times get tough.

Ya we are socially isolated & not allowed to be touched (untouchables) all the time. Our life is hellish either way, virus or not.. but we really come alive when normies are forced to suffer too.
