Three stormtroopers with badges roll up to a man’s garage to snatch his toddler after welfare check was called on him because apparently he was having a psychotic episode. The man assaults an officer with a metal clamp. The cops then shoot him in front on the 3-year old child. The man dies in the hospital.

Police de-escalation skills = a grenade in a china shop. Some say the father was using the kid as a human shield, but that's just cope from bootlickers who’ve never held a child. Yup. I remember reading a 4chan thread in reaction to some other bullshit, completely preventable death like this, and some poster said that the reactions to stuff like it show them how many Americans seem mentally ill and traumatized, and that post has genuinely stayed with me, because it explains so much.
