People say they despise us for being misogynists who spread dangerous hate against women but other, far more influential groups and people who are misogynists get away scot free.

Examples:

-Islam (and most other religions) is infested with misogyny.
-Back/Rap-Culture is full of it.
-Chris Brown is an actual, proven danger to women, because he is attractive to and demonstrably violent towards them.

But they don’t face much criticism and there are two reasons for it:

A) They are too popular. Speaking out against such groups/people is socially dangerous.
B) They don’t provide much of a target. They are confident and popular/successful with women. There is not much to shame them with.

Incels however are not popular (we are a socially acceptable target) and we are openly insecure (hurting/shaming us is extremely easy).

Conclusion:

People who target Incels but not the (far more dangerous) groups mentioned above are just bullies who seek any easy target. Misogynie is just an excuse.
