Some days I have this lucid feeling as if I'm not evening fully awake, It feels like any moment i could just wake up from this nightmare into the life that I'm really living but I never wake up. While I'm like this nothing feels real at all and everything is just surreal but it's not like my dreams I am still vulnerable to the OCD that paralyzes my own mind. In fact I'd say it gets worse when I'm in this state as I'm literally within my own head almost unable to observe the reality that is around me. It's hard feeling for me to describe to someone who has never felt it and I'm doing the best I can here but as I've said it's like still sleeping throughout the entire day accept like lucid dream i have control over myself.

I wonder if this a result of being alone for so long as if my mind wants to escape to it's fantasy world.

I feel similar

I've been feeling like I'm in a dream since age 20. Everything just merges together. Time goes by so fast and I constantly feel detached.

Everything since 2020 just feels like one big year.

Eh, for me 2021/22/23 all felt like fairly normal years. It's been 2024 onwards that have felt like this bizarre dream state. How old are you, if I may ask?

I'm 24

It might be that the way our brains perceive time changes when we enter our twenties. You were 19 in 2020, right? Well, I was 20 in 2024 when everything started feeling like this bizarre dream where time progressed rapidly. Do you feel numb as well?

Maybe, i don't know how to describe I would say I feel numb but I still feel strong emotions constantly.

Me to it's probably due to low socializing. Some days I genuinely don't remember doing anything and feel like I'm controlling a VR character instead of myself
