The scale of the universe is beyond human understanding. Like I said in other threads: most likely infinite.
So, what makes us think the creator of everything picked out this tiny irrelevant space rock, with a bunch of average intelligence, narcissistic, stuck up primal species to reveal himself through a holy book written by a human hand? It makes no sense to me. We are a laughing stock. This globe is a circus and utter shit, yet we think we are so relevant and special. Says a lot about humanities level of narcissism, to think that the creator of all handpicked this tiny place of misery.
Same story with those Gen X imbeciles ranting online about alien spaceships heading our way. Who honestly believes such nonsense? Do you really believe you are that important? If I was part of another civilization, located billions of lightyears away from earth, I wouldn't even bother with earth at all. Why would I? What's there to gain?
