They may have fed them, got them a roof over their head, clothed them, etc. But did they also teach them valuable and appliable lessons in how the world works and how to survive in this fucked up shithole?
They may have taken care and raised the kids physically, but did they also raise them mentally? Maybe that's why they are "ungrateful"? Maybe cause they didn't teach them useful shit as the parents should have?
