What do you think about this?I feel that Generation Z was marked in childhood and adolescence by the promise that simply studying and working would allow them to lead a good life and acquire good material possessions. But now that Generation Z is graduating from college and entering the job market, they are seeing that this promise is not being fulfilled. Thanks to inflation, everything has become absurdly expensive, but salaries haven't kept up, diminishing the purchasing power of Generation Z, who find themselves working hard but without being properly rewarded for that work. Because of this, this generation has adopted a cynical attitude towards work, no longer wanting to work as much as their bosses want, not accepting many responsibilities, fighting for the end of the 6x1 work schedule, wanting civil service jobs instead of being a CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws) employee... An emblematic situation for me was when the manga Boku no Hero ended and I saw many people complaining that the protagonist is "a loser" for having become a "CLT teacher". I realized that this is due to the loss of hope in work as a guarantor of dignity.
