With looksmaxxing unfortunately being the most mainstream it has ever been, you have all these dudes trying to become a Chad. Not knowing of course that Chads are born not made. No amount of maxxing or improving will make you desirable to a woman compared to a man who has the genetic traits that women are truly attracted to. Modern looksmaxxing and self-improvement in general is no different than old school pua philosophy. It gives the man the idea that he himself is not worthy for his looksmatch or any woman at all and that he must prove himself in order to get women; putting women on a pedestal. There's nothing wrong with doing it for yourself but the truth is most of them aren't doing it for themselves, they want to get girls. The idea that you have to improve yourself for your female counterpart is the epitome of female supremacy. The idea that you have to improve yourself to get preferential treatment from women is gynocentrism. You shouldn't have to improve yourself for someone that is in your league (similar looks level). But normies, looksmaxxers, self-improvers, and society in general sees women as the prize in the dating market. For what reasons? Is it simply because they are women and can carry children? Is it for this reason that women are deemed this valuable without having to do anything at all to the point of killing your dignity by IMPROOOVING all for a group of people who don't care about you or 80% of their counterparts. In point trying to change yourself for women puts them on a pedestal, it regurgitates the idea that men are inherently less than women all due to things that they have no control over mind you. Why should you improve yourself for people who not only don't give a shit about you but also don't have much to give back to you.
