How is lookism not as bad as racism, if not even worse? It functions on the same principle as racism if we go by their logic.
People are less likely to talk to you, they are more alert near you, you get less job opportunities and people are less likely to respect you at work.People are going to already have assumptions about you and treat you in a certain way, no matter what you do.
The way you look also impacts how competent and intelligent they perceive you as, so you can't even work hard in peace as your boss will always see you as the lesser, more lazier worker who constantly slacks off and fucks up.
You're more likely to be profiled in any crime scene, more likely to be linked with crime, more likely to get mistreated by law and cops, if you do anything wrong, your sentence will be marginally prolonged compared to the average and attractive looking people.And let's not go head first into relationships and just how many problems come with being ugly, especially with anything love and sex related
So why the fuck is this not seen as something on same level as racism? Because I'd argue that it's even worse than racism in many ways.
Tall and attractive people of any race get it easy, no matter what. An attractive black guy who's also tall has more privileges compared to the 5’5 ltn white guy with severe autism, and they all know it. If you're ugly, nobody is going to accept you. Not your family, not your community, not your race and especially anyone outside of it. Even if others don't consider you attractive across the other races, if you're good looking within your own race, you still win and get ahead in life.

That we're undesirable from the mix of traits. If you're ugly, there is practically no reason to keep on living and each minute is just spent coping away from the inevitable.
