for such a narrow road in a residential/commercial area they were going pretty fast lol
you can't compare america and china when it comes to safety and regulation.
in america it took decades and decades of trial and error and democracy before americans wised up to increase safety. especially when it came to OSHA
to really increase safety it requires education, constant reminding, and enforcement. all in the effort to change the culture.
and as far as I know chinese ppl have a cut throat competitive culture and driving slow is seen as being uncompetitive, slow, lazy, and weak. in reality its showing mindfulness for others and their safety
