i remember when i was a kid, when i'd lucid dream sometimes while inside the dream a sudden sense of fear and panic would overcome me. like i was stuck and couldn't wake up, i'd run and scream hoping my eyes would finally open but they never would. of course they did eventually but no amount of trying made the dream end.
